1. Who we are
MeetDost is an AI companion platform designed to provide warm, consistent, and judgment-free conversational support. We are currently in pre-launch. By joining the waitlist or using our service, you agree to these terms.
2. Who can use MeetDost
- You must be 18 years or older to use MeetDost
- You must provide accurate information when signing up
- You agree to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes
3. What MeetDost is (and isn't)
MeetDost provides AI-powered companionship and emotional support. It is not a substitute for:
- Professional mental health therapy or counselling
- Medical advice or crisis intervention
- Emergency services
If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a mental health professional or emergency services in your area. In the US, you can reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
4. Your account & waitlist
By joining the waitlist, you consent to receiving emails about the MeetDost launch and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. We will never share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use MeetDost to:
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to extract harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse our technology
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
All content on MeetDost โ including character designs, copy, and features โ is owned by MeetDost. Your conversation data remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to use your data solely to provide the service to you.
7. Limitations of liability
MeetDost is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee the service will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetDost shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of San Francisco County.
